"First-Year Fest made me part of a community before I even attended my first class " - Jonah Klapholz

Prospective Students

Unfortunately, due to Covid regulations, we are not allowed to offer campus tours, and Cornell prohibits outside visitors from coming to campus. Read more about Cornell’s Covid-19 regulations here.

Admitted Students

Welcome to the Class of 2025!

Cornell Hillel is excited to welcome you to our community, and looking forward to connecting you to many opportunities including holiday celebrations, leadership roles, internships, and much more.

If you are an incoming student, please reach out to our Director of Jewish Student Experiences, Nikki Michaelson, and she will connect you with current students who can give you the inside scoop about campus life.

Move-In and Pre-Orientation 2021

Start your college career off right by spending an overnight with 60 other incoming students in the beautiful Ithaca outdoors! Spend the day at the Hoffman Challenge course, schmooze with your fellow students and get to know the upperclassmen and Hillel staff. Enjoy the low ropes course, team building activities, stargazing, a bonfire, s'mores, and camp out in a yurt. You'll find out the many opportunities to get involved with Jewish life at Cornell. Sign up by August 9 here! First-Year Fest will take place from the afternoon of August 19 to the morning of August 20.

If you have any questions please email our Director of Jewish Experiences, Nikki Michaelson.

Parents are welcome to be in touch with our Executive Director, Ari Weiss

Big/Little Mentoring Program

In the fall we will also be offering our Big/Little program, a mentorship initiative that connects freshmen with Hillel involved upperclassmen.
